India's New Year Resolution (2016)

Posted by saloni 2015-12-31
A change I wish to see in India in 2016:

India has the second largest labour force in the entire world. It is high time that we take maximum advantage of this boon to propel our country to new heights. I wish that education and training is ensured to each and every citizen in India, so that the country can reach the massive potential it has!
I am doing my bit by teaching underprivileged children through NGOs and I encourage everyone to do the same. I hope that the government pays special attention to the educational sector of India.

A change I wish to see in India in 2016 Delhi is the most polluted city in the world. Delhi, NCR need to improve their air quality. My wish for India is that the pollution level comes down in the cities of India. For this, we all need to do our bit. Vehicular transport is the main contributor of pollution. Along with the government, we too need to help in decreasing such high pollution levels. So that our children are able to breathe in healthy air.

Good idea! However, education is just one part. We need awareness regarding injustices in our society- and motivate people to rise against corruption. The right stewards can take india to great heights

What a brilliant initiative, Saloni. I am really proud of you for undertaking this very very noble cause. I strongly believe that we need to implement stringent rules to make 'education for all' a reality in India. We all need to do our bit and I am so glad our little Saloni has taken this up in a big way at a tender age.

Great initiative Saloni. I wish that the Indian workforce improve work ethic and discipline. South Korea's population density is higher than India, but they have managed to keep the country clean and organized. The South Korean workforce has much higher productivity levels due to their disciplined approach and work ethic.

Greatness is simply defined as the ability to believe in yourself and ignoring everyone who says you can?t do it. Good job Saloni

Well said, Saloni. I would with my own experience put my ideas and action on Training and Skill development with equal effort on Education...About 80% or more are torn between the 'Need' to earn and 'desire' to learn!! All the best- This is a fantastic initiative and my best to you.
